Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire!!!!!!
There once was a boy named Harry Potter. He lived with a family called the Dursleys. Harry Potter is a wizard living with muggles (non-wizards). The Dursleys are cruel and mean. They almost didn't let Harry go to the Quidditch World Cup. He managed to convince them to let him go. So his friend Ron and his family came to pick him up. Harry was having a good time up until the Death Eaters (Voldemort's supporters) came and destroyed the campground. Harry, Ron and Hermione ran away in fright and almost got stunned by wizards from the Ministry of Magic because they thought that they conjured the Dark Mark (Voldemort's mark).People around Harry, Ron, Hermione, and the other were talking suspiciously and everybody wanted to know what they were talking about. At Hogwarts they found out what they were talking about the Triwizard Tournament was going to be held at Hogwarts. Everyone was excited and everyone hung around the Goblet of Fire because you enter by put your name on a piece of paper and putting it in the fire. Two other schools came to Hogwarts and when the three champions, one from each school, were chosen a surprising thing happened there was going to be a forth champion and it was Harry!
Later in the book he has some help from Professor Moody he does the first task which is battling a dragon. The dragon is guarding an egg and he retrieves it by flying on his broomstick. It is very dangerous. The egg is a clue to the next clue with some help Harry figures out the clue. He has to go down to the bottom of the Black Lake and rescue a hostage. There is a woman who follows Harry around and her name is Rita Skeeter, she some how get stories only his class can hear. Professor McGonagall takes Ron and Hermione away when they are talking to Harry about the second task. At the second task he uses a special weed called gillyweed it makes you have gills. He goes down and he saves Ron, his hostage, and since Fleur (one of the champions) never came he rescued her hostage too.
Harry has been talking to Sirius Black (his godfather, who is on the run) secretly. Also Sirius has been visiting Harry. Then before the third task there is the Yule Ball and Harry and Ron have trouble finding dates but they do get them in the end and the champions start off the dance. After the dance Hermione gets angry with them and yells at Ron and Harry. In the third task Harry has to go through a maze with dangerous things in it. Harry fights all sorts of things and then he has to answer a riddle. He and the other Hogwarts champion (Cedric Diggory) reach the cup and both grab it at the same time and they are teleported to a graveyard. A man murders Cedric with the killing curse (Avada Kedavra) and Harry is tied to a grave. The man name is Peter Pettigrew or Wormtail. Wormtail grabs a thing wrapped in cloth and he drops the thing in the cauldron beside Wormtail. Wormtail levitates Voldemort's father's bone and drops it in the cauldron, then he takes a knife out and cuts off his hand, and then he walks over to Harry and takes some blood from Harry. Next thing that happen was that Voldemort came back to life and called his followers. He gives a speech to his followers and then made Harry duel him. They wands connected when they cast their spells and Harry was told by a memory of his parents and Cedric, that appeared when the wands connected, that he should get back to the cup and break the connection by his parents. Cedric told him to take his body back to Hogwarts. So Harry did that and Professor Moody took him away and talked to him and started to act strangely. Then Professor Dumbledore (Headmaster) and Professor Snape (potions teacher) came bursting in and told Harry to stand back. Then Professor Moody transformed and was the Minister of Magic's son Barty Crouch Jr. Professor Snape dumps a small vial full of liquid and Professor Dumbledore asks him questions and they find the real Moody. They have a memorial for Cedric and Harry gets 1,000 galleons (big money for wizards) and gives them to Ron's brothers, Fred and George, all the money. Everybody went home for the summer.
