School of Fear
In this story Madeleine, Garrison, Lulu (Lucy), Theodore (Theo) all have fears. Madeleine is afraid of bugs, especially spiders. Garrison is afraid of water. Lulu is afraid of confined spaces. Theo is afraid of death and his loved ones dying. They all are very bad cases.
Madeleine wears a veil and carries repellent everywhere. At night she lies underneath a mosquito net and wakes up 5 or 4 times a night she wakes up and sprays the air. Garrison starts to sweat at the mention of water and someone talks about it a lot, he might faint. When he gets close to water he will scream at a pitch only heard at rock concerts and faints.
At one field trip, Lulu had to go in an elevator. They were at an aircraft museum and she had to be dragged into the elevator. She sprinted underneath an airplane. The parent with her group started toward her and he hit his head on the tip of the plane.
Theo calls all of his relatives every hour, even during school, to see if they are dead or alive. He even had a book titled "DEAD OR ALIVE" to log in if his family is okay or not.
All of the kid's parents are worried; all of the kids have counselors. So, the counselors are worried too. Whenever someone talks about the school of fear, the parents go in the counselor's office. The counselor looks down the hall to see if anyone is trying to eavesdrop. He stuffs the crack of the door with paper towels and talks in a whispery voice.
The foursome gets accepted to the School of Fear and meet Mrs.Wellington. Perhaps the weirdest (and ugliest) woman ever. The first thing they do is to eat lunch. Theo takes a bite of the grilled cheese sandwich and spits it out and says, "That tastes horrible! What's in that sandwich!" Mrs.Wellington says simply, "There is Casu Frazigu in it." That means maggot cheese in Queen's English. Then they go see their classroom and then they go to the Fearnasium to practice facing their fear. They do that by imagining their fear. Later they all went to bed. A couple days later Mrs.Wellington made them all put Vaseline on their teeth. Every day they go to the Fearnasium for 15 minutes. One day a man uses the dire disaster only hole. It turns out that it was a man named Munchauser with a message saying that a boy named Abernathy is back. Mrs.Wellington stomped all around the house saying Abernathy over and over again. Then all the people left except for Garrison, Munchauser and Schmidty, the caretaker. They followed Mrs.Wellington around the house. Schmidty sat and Garrison was calming him down. Then Mrs.Wellington died. Garrison read her will and Munchauser got mad because he got one dollar and her dog, Macaroni, got everything else. Munchauser was especially mad because Schmidty got more money than he did. So during the night Schmidty told the kids that they needed to save Macaroni and get him away from here. They got the stuff that they would need for the trip. They were going to go the next day, but Munchauser stole Macaroni and the foursome has to save Macaroni. They have to go into the dire disaster only hole. Lulu really doesn't want to but, she goes in then Schmidty cuts the rope and they all fall down. Then they almost catch Munchauser, but some gliding squirrels attack them and take Madeleine's veil. Then Theo uses all of Madeleine's repellents by spraying her hair with them. They find a house and find out that Munchauser was hiding there and then he jumped out of the window and ran to the other side of the pool. Garrison jumps in the pool to get to him. He gets away and Madeleine, Garrison, Theo, and Lulu get a ride from the Knapp's (the people who own the house.) to the police station. The policeman gave them a ride to the School of Fear, only to find out that all of that was a hoax! Mrs.Wellington was alive, Munchauser was told to steal Macaroni! They still have their phobias, but they are getting better and they will be returning to the School of Fear to work on their phobias next summer.
The End!
